II Games of CIS countries to Belarus

From August 4 to August 14 to Belarus passed II Games of CIS countries. For superiority in various sports disciplines athletes from Russian Federation, the Commonwealth countries, and also combined Iran, Egypt, Malaysia, Lebanon, United Arab Emirates, Vietnam and Cuba fought. About 4000 athletes took part in tournament from 23 states. In total 246 sets of medals in 20 sports disciplines were awarded. The vice-chairman of Government of the Russian Federation Dmitry Chernyshenko sent to participants and organizers a greeting, having noted a role of Games in strengthening international cooperation in the sports sphere.
