On Malta opened first-ever deep-water arkheopark

The first-ever deep-water archaeological park was open for divers at Xlendi on Region of Gozo — the island second for the size belonging to Malta. The unique park occupies the territory of 67 000 m ², being considerable archaeological value. The zone in the sea was defined in 2020 and offers researchers and technical divers from all over the world opportunity to investigate rich history Malta under water.
