Estonia in the second quarter 2023 was visited by more than 1,1 million foreign tourists that is 19% more in comparison with the similar period year before, reports Bank Estonia. Expenditure of foreign tourists to Estonia grew by 62 million, to 375 million euros. 83% of tourists arrived to Estonia from the countries of EU, their number in a year increased by 22%. The greatest number of foreign tourists - 500 thousand - arrived from Finland. The number of the Finnish tourists in a year increased by a third.
