The Turkish archeologists investigated 14 coins for Charon, found in a funeral chamber together with remains of 33 people which dug out in the antique city of Parion. They noted that all artifacts represent the Roman provincial coins which have been rapped out between the 45th year B.C. and 253–268 years of our era. The most part of them made on a local mint.
