The serial form never was property of exclusively small screen. Any film expert offhand can call axioms of cinema series of the beginning of the XX century. The multiseries cinema arose almost at the same time on both sides of Atlantic: on the west bank movie theaters twisted "Polina's dangerous adventures" (their authors in 1913 invented "kliffkhenger"), on east — Louis Feyad's opuses ("Fantomas" left in the same the 1913th, and then there were legendary "Vampires").
