The Petersburg deputies will finish the bill of spinal muscular atrophy (SMA) inclusion in the program of high cost nozologiya (VZN) after a negative response on the document of Government of the Russian Federation. Now obligations for treatment of adults from SMA lie on the regional authorities; only 25% of profile patients receive therapy. The Cabinet of Ministers considers that at adult sick SMA efficiency of treatment is insignificant or at all is absent.
