A field about 150 bracts of the XIV century, and also medieval navershy throwing and other military subjects were found by archeologists from Gdansk university, carrying out excavation in Barcheveke near Olsztyn. The place where archeologists work already the 10th season, received the name "Varmiyskiye Pompei": at an early stage of the of developments Vartberg as well as the ancient Roman city, was completely destroyed — only not by lava streams, and invasion of the Lithuanian army of princes Kestutis and Olgerda.
