The Baltic States agreed to accelerate an exit from a power ring about Russian Federation

Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia intend to leave a power ring of BRELL which unites them with Russian Federation and Belarus, no later than February, 2025. Earlier they planned to make it until the end of 2025. The Ministry of Energy of the Baltic States agreed to accelerate synchronization of the power supply networks with Europe at a meeting of ministers in Riga. Ministry power industry of Republic of Lithuania reported that new terms will be approved by the governments and system operators at the beginning of August.
