The Chukchi companies extracted more than 804 000 tons of coal for the first half of 2023

Coal mining in Chukotka Autonomous District (CIAO) continues to show impressive growth. Following the results of January-June, 2023 804 500 tons of brown and stone firm fuel were received. Volume is comparable to results for all 2022, "Business newspaper" reports. The statistics testifies to noticeable improvement in production of this important natural resource.
