Smolensk deputies elected the new mayor

Yaroslavl, 24 Jul – Federal state unitary enterprise RAMI "RIA Novosti". Deputies Smolensk City council on Monday by means of vote chose to a position of chapter Smolensk the former first deputy head Novikov Alexander Aleksandrovich, reported Federal state unitary enterprise RAMI "RIA Novosti" in the City Council press service. According to the City Council, the mayor was elected on a competitive basis. Four persons applied for a position, on Monday they submitted to deputies the programs of development Smolensk.
