The last flight of crew Il-76 Ministry of the Russian Federation for Civil Defence, Emergency Situations and the Relief of Natural Disasters on forest fires to Irkutsk Region

The Il-76 plane Ministry of the Russian Federation for Civil Defence, Emergency Situations and the Relief of Natural Disasters took off from airfield in Usolsky district on elimination of forest fire in Kachug district on July 1, 2016. Onboard there were 10 people. At 11.30 the crew had to contact, however it did not occur. As a result of two-day searches the plane was found in 145 km from Kachuga, all crew members were lost. On July 4 in the region the day of mourning was declared. In connection with the tragedy Ministry of the Russian Federation for Civil Defence, Emergency Situations and the Relief of Natural Disasters and the insurance company paid 2,7 million rubles to families of victims.
