The presidium of the Russian Academy of Sciences will approve the chairman of scientific council on genetics on June 27

Presidium RAN plan to approve on June 27 candidate the chairman of Scientific council of the Russian Academy of Sciences on genetics and selection. As the academician-secretary of office of biological sciences of the Russian Academy of Sciences Mikhail Petrovich Kirpichnikov reported, the bureau of office recommended for this post of the academician Nicholas Yankovsky. In February, 2020 of bureau of office made the decision to exempt from the management of council of the academician Inge-Vechtomov Sergei at his request and to appoint to this position of the corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the director Institutes the general genetics Kudryavtsev Alexander.
