Iceland will stop embassy work since August 1

The Minister of Foreign Affairs Tourdis Kolbrun Gyulfadottir announced Iceland. According to her, it is a hard step as Iceland always supported close relationship with the Russian people, however in the current conditions to contain embassy in Moscow it is unprofitable. "I hope that through any time of a condition will allow to interact about Russian Federation on a normal and mutually advantageous basis", – she noted, having added that the made decision does not mean severance of diplomatic relations with Russian Federation.
