New York creates the commission on payments compensations for slavery

On Thursday legislative assembly of the State of New York voted for creation of the commission which will consider possibility of compensation of damage from slavery. In the decision on creation of such commission it is noted that the first slaves from Africa were brought on the territory New York City in the 1620th years, and the last slaves there were released in 1827.
