The cargo train crushed a bear in the west of Republic of Karelia

Last Thursday, June 1, in a call center of transport police the message that on a stage of stations of Akonyarvi – Gimolskaya of the area the cargo structure brought down Suoyarvsky on a bear arrived. Guards established that the wild animal ran across tracks before the locomotive. The driver urgently braked, but collision did not manage to be avoided. The bear was lost. Incident did not affect the train schedule. Staff of Petrozavodsk department of transport police carries out an inspection.
