Germany will remove ZRK Patriot from Slovakia and in exchange will transfer ZPU Mantis

Germany until the end of the year will remove from Slovakia the MIM-104 Patriot surface-to-air missile systems of the American productions. As reported information agency "ITAR-TASS", in exchange Berlin will transfer to Bratislava two antiaircraft and gun installations of near radius of action of Mantis. "Transfer will be carried out until the end of the year", - told in the Bundeswehr press service. Military reminded that the German Patriot were placed to Slovakia for strengthening of air defense of NATO in March, 2022. It is noted also that 60 servicemen of army Slovakia began training in Mantis system use. It should be noted that replacement turns out not really equivalent...
