Naval Forces Egypt accepted the second frigate of the class MEKO A200EN

Company Thyssenkrupp of AG Marine Systems (TKMS) transferred on May 26 Naval Forces Egypt to the second (from four ordered) a class MEKO A200EN frigate. The ceremony of transfer and naming took place at the TKMS enterprise in Bremerhaven in the presence of the commander-in-chief of Naval Forces Egypt the vice admiral Ibrahim Ashraf Atva and other senior representatives of Naval Forces Egypt and Germany. The ship received the name (905) "Al-Kakhkhar" (al-Qahhar).
