After start of the Chinese Shenchzhou-16 spaceship the number of people which at the same time is in Earth orbit, reached 17 people that is a record, transfers Federal state unitary enterprise RAMI "RIA Novosti". By data agencies, the previous record was established on September 16, 2021 when 14 people at the same time gathered on an orbit. Before the record kept quarter of the century — in March, 1995 in an orbit at the same time there were 13 people.
