The Tretyakov gallery prepared a virtual exhibition "The Crimean landscapes". The project is dated for the 240 anniversary of occurrence of Republic of Crimea, Tamani and Kuban in structure of the Russian Empire. In 1783 the empress Catherine II signed the manifesto on acceptance "peninsulas Crimean, islands Tamana and vseya the Kuban party under the Russian power". Accession of Republic of Crimea to Russian Federation became a merit of the associate of the empress – the governor general Novorossiya , the prince Potemkin Grigory.
