The national team Latvia beat on May 25 Swedes in a quarterfinal of the World Cup (WC) in hockey. The meeting came to the end with the score 3:1. As a part of the national team Latvia washers was thrown by forwards Dans Lokmelis and Miks Indrashis (46), and also the defender Yanis Yaks.
