The author of the novel about fight against Alzheimer became the winner of the Booker Prize

The international Booker Prize on literature awarded to the Bulgarian poet and the prose writer Gospodinov Georgi for the novel "Vremeubezhishche" (Time Shelter) about the people "losing" the past – suffering Alzheimer's disease. Gospodinov Georgi became the most awarded and translated writer in the native land. The book "Vremeubezhishche" for the first time left in 2020. Then it could not be nominated for the Booker Prize as it was written in the Bulgarian language. In 2022 into English the novel was translated by Angela Rodel.
