The earthquake measuring 5,0 was registered by seismologists on Sunday at Kuriles, reported in island branch of Uniform geophysical service Russian Academy of Sciences. According to department, the earthquake measuring 5,0 occurred at 20.39 (12.39 Moscow time), epicenter was in the sea in 39 kilometers South to the west of the village Low-Kuril on the island Shikotan, transfers information agency "ITAR-TASS". As the chief of a seismic station "Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk" Helena Semenov specified, the center of tremors settled down at a depth of 41 kilometer.
