Last night on five observing stations — in Dagda, Daugavpils, Dobele, Madona and Zosena — the record of the minimum air temperature for May 7 is broken, reports the Latvian center of environment, geology and meteorology.  the lowest air temperature was recorded by LETA in Zoseny where early in the morning stem of thermometer fell to-6,0 degrees. It is a new national record of cold for May 7. The previous lowest air temperature registered to Latvia this day, was-5,4 degrees in 1947 in Mersragsa.
