It is not fated to land: tragedy history with explosion of the helicopter of Head department of Ministry of the Russian Federation for Civil Defence, Emergency Situations and the Relief of Natural Disasters on the Irkutsk region

On May 6, 2013 near Preobrazhenk's village Irkutsk Region there was a tragedy. Mi-8 RA-24410, loaded nearly two tons of explosive substances, blew up in air. The aircraft was sent for blasting ice on the river to the Lower Tunguska. Onboard there were nine people, including the acting the chief of regional GU Ministry of Emergency Situations Omelyanchik Stanislas and the deputy chief of the Baikal search and rescue group Stepanov Alexander.
