Cyprus toughened criteria of granting nationality to persons from the third countries

Cyprus decided to toughen criteria of granting nationality to persons from the third countries, the Cyprian Minister of Internal Affairs Ioannu Konstantinos on April 21 following the results of meeting of Government respubliki. According to him, the purpose of such step is strengthening of the mechanism affecting control over investments from people to which the republic authorities already provided nationality according to the accelerated program.
