The Petersburg Legislative Assembly will suggest to adopt the law on evacuation of the Soviet monuments

The committee on the legislation of Legislative Assembly of Saint Petersburg approved the bill of evacuation of memorials subject to demolition to the Soviet soldiers from the territory Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Poland. After approval by chamber the bill will send to State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation. The document assumes to add Art. 59 of the law "Bases of the Legislation Russian Federation about Culture" with point that "in case of threat of damage or destruction of the Russian cultural and historical values outside Russian Federation the state undertakes measures for their dismantle and evacuation home".
