International Day of monuments and historical places: As noted on April 18 in Tomsk

Today, on April 18, the International Day of monuments and historical places is celebrated. In 1983 the memorial was established by Assembly of the International council for questions of protection of monuments and the noteworthy places, created at Specialized establishment United Nations concerning education, sciences and cultures. Annually worldwide this day various events, urged to draw public attention to preservation of a cultural heritage are held.
