In the book "Forest People" the anthropologist Colin M. Turnbull describes the experience of companionship and supervision with pygmies (bambuti) from the wood Province of Ituri. He tells about everyday life of the pygmies living in the area of the river of Epulu, and about their interaction with each other and with it.
