In the book "Forest People" the anthropologist Colin M. Turnbull describes the experience of companionship and supervision with pygmies (bambuti) from the wood Province of Ituri. He tells about everyday life of the pygmies living in the area of the river of Epulu, and about their interaction with each other and with it. Scene of action – Belgian Congo which Turnbull describes as located in the center Africa. Turnbull visited Epulu Bambuti in 1951. In this story which action takes place in 1954, its second adventure with this group is described. Its stay here much more long, and, living with bambuti in their forest camps...
