In Ukraine in four months the prices of cucumbers and tomatoes flew up twice. The head of the Ukrainian Agrarian Assembly organization Gapon Alexander on air of Rada TV channel called a situation "nonsense", having noted that the country should be guided by import vegetables. According to Ministry of finance of Ukraine, in November, 2022 cucumbers cost 92 hryvnias (2,5 dollars), tomatoes — 73 hryvnias (1,9 dollars), in March, 2023 their price grew to 200 hryvnias (5,4 dollars) and 123 hryvnias (3,3 dollars) respectively.
