BHP invested $50 million more in the nickel project in Tanzania

The Australian mining corporation BHP Billiton Ltd invested additional $50 million in assets of the British companies Kabanga Nickel on development its nickel Kabanga project in Tanzania. Thanks to these means the share of BHP in Kabanga Nickel grew with 8,9 to 17%. In future BHP plans to bring it to 60,7%. At present Kabanga Nickel is the affiliated company Lifezone Metals and 84% of the Kabanga project own. Another 16% of mine belong the state Tanzanian companies to Tembo Nickel Corporation.
