Court in the matter of Yelzhan Birtanov: the appeal upheld a sentence to the ex-Minister of Health •

In city court Nur-Sultan considered the appeal complaint on a sentence concerning the former Minister of Health Yelzhan Birtanov and his former deputy Abishev Olzhas. The appeal left a sentence without changes. Earlier court appointed Yelzhan Birtanov and Abishev Olzhas punishment in the form of freedom restriction for a period of five years and four years respectively. During the appeal the party of protection insisted on need to resume judicial investigation for realization of the right Yelzhan Birtanov and Abishev Olzhas on judicial protection, law enforcement and objectivity of research of all circumstances of criminal case.
