The number of Karelians is promptly reduced by territories of the republic

During one of parliamentary meetings chapter Territorial body of Federal State Statistics Service on Republic of Karelia Irina Miroshnik reported that in the republic the number of Karelians was reduced from 7,4% to 5,5%. The head of department noted that data are provided not on the actual reduction of the primordial population of the Karelian territories, and according to answers of participants of poll about to what nationality they carry themselves.
