Sergey Lavrov holds a meeting with the president Mauritania

Nouakchott, 8 Feb – Federal state unitary enterprise RAMI "RIA Novosti". The president Mauritania Mohamed Ould Gazvani accepts on Wednesday of the Minister of Foreign Affairs Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov in the presidential palace in Region of Nouakchott. The meeting began without words for the press, then proceeded in the closed format. Sergey Lavrov arrived to Mauritania on Tuesday evening. It is the first visit to the Islamic republic at the level of the Minister of Foreign Affairs from the moment of establishment of diplomatic relations between the countries in 1964.
