GFG Alliance and Government Luxembourg could not agree about sale Liberty Dudelange

Negotiations of Government Luxembourg and the British group GFG Alliance about sale Dudelange plant came to a standstill. The parties did not manage to coordinate the cost of assets of the enterprise. At present them Liberty Steel, the affiliated company GFG owns. In October, 2022 the Minister of Economics reported Luxembourg plant the state Franz Fayo. However then GFG disagreed with the price which was offered by the country government.
