Vladimir Region won first place in a team competition in the championship Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation on fighting sambo

On February 3 on a platform "Suzdal Arenas" came to the end the championship Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation on fighting and sports sambo. In personal and team competitions among higher education institutions and regional law-enforcement bodies the strongest sambo wrestlers of the country acted. Among participants of the championship – 21 Honoured Masters of Sports, 36 masters of sports of the international class and 153 masters of sports from 53 regions of the country. "To Vladimir Region sambo is a basic sport. More than 4,5 thousand people are engaged in it. In 2022 our athlete Konovalov Anton became the world champion in sambo.
