Scientists from Universities Zhongshan of a name of Sun Yat Sen and Chzhetszyansky university managed to create robots from metals which can pass obstacles in a liquid form. As writes VICE, researchers reconstructed a scene from the movie "Terminator 2" in which the humanoid robot from liquid metals passes through a metal lattice, turning into liquid.
