Four of eight samples of boiled Doctor's sausage under popular trademarks do not conform to state standard specification requirements. Examination tests specialists of the State regional center of standardization carried out, metrology and tests in Saint Petersburg and Leningrad Region (Federal state-funded institution "Test-S.-Peterburg"). In 50% of cases as a part of the sausages allegedly made in accordance with GOST, foreign ingredients — first of all starch, gum (E412) and collagen are found.
