Anatoly Alekseevich Ivanishin was enlisted in group of astronauts in 2003. Upon termination of all-space preparation and successful delivery of state exam in 2005 the decision of the Interdepartmental qualification commission to it appropriated qualification "astronaut tester". Since August, 2009 Anatoly Alekseevich Ivanishin prepared as a part of duplicating crew of MKC-26/27 as the commander of TPK "TMA Union", the flight engineer of MKS-26 and the commander of MKS-27.
