Always was considered that frosting Antarctica began about 45,5 million years ago, and completely the continent became covered by ice 34 million years ago. It appeared, it not so. Scientists from Aberdeen university conducted research according to which ice was formed much earlier — 60 million years ago (border cretaceous and the Paleogene Period). These are times when all dinosaurs only died out.
