In Australia toughen the law on protection of animals

Government State of Queensland adopted amendments to the law on the content and protection of the animals, toughening requirements to owners. Now in case of violation of obligations for care of an animal, causing to it long sufferings or death, to the owner threatens till 3 years of imprisonment.
