Switzerland will carry out large-scale military exercises of PILUM 22 with participation of 5 thousand military personnel, they will be carried out from November 22 to November 29, is reported on a site of Federal council Switzerland. The country did not see maneuvers of such scale since 1989. Doctrines will be developed in cantons Bern, Canton of Solothurn, Canton of Aargau, Lucerne and Zurich. On planning of PILUM 22 two years were required. Four mechanized battalions, battalion of logistic support and mountain infantry company will participate in maneuvers.
