Republic of Karelia Interdistrict prosecutor's office of nature conservation carried out an inspection of observance of the legislation on reforestation. It is established that in the current year in the territory of the republic according to requirements Federal law of the Russian Federation of 4 December 2006 No. 200-FZ "On the Forest Code of the Russian Federation" the managing subjects renting the timberland, are obliged to execute actions for compensation reforestation concerning the cabins of the wood which have been carried out in 2019-2021, on total area more than 2 900 hectares.
