In France imprisonment for a period of up to two years threatens members of a gang of smugglers

Four French and one inhabitant Iraq helped to transport to United Kingdom not less than 2 600 illegal migrants, reports newspaper "Le Figaro". On Friday evening the criminal court Boulogne-sur-Mer pronounced suspended sentences from 18 months till two years of imprisonment to five members of a network of smugglers of people to United Kingdom. Accused three men and two women aged from 20 till 29 years, were arrested on September 19 and 20 in the capital district Lille.
