The researchers representing Colorado university in Bouldere (CU Boulder), used a x-ray computer tomography for studying of structure of a swarm of honey bees. Roentgenograms allowed to look at insects in a new way: it appeared that forms of swarms in which bees gather, are not casual. These are the dome-shaped structures answering enough mathematically to difficult rules; researchers call these rules the scaling law. The received results can help engineers to design steadier buildings; and — if to look in the future — to program behavior of groups...
