Triumph Sholokhov Mikhail and the "stolen" Cossack forelocks

It is difficult to imagine the Soviet literature without epic novel Sholokhov Mikhail "Quiet Don". The writer could find room for the most important events of the beginning of the XX century into four volumes, only Russian Federation, and to reflect them through destiny of the ordinary Cossack. Right after a publication of the book it was picturized by Preobrazhenskaya Olga and Pravov Yvan, however huge popularity was gained by later version created by Sergei Gerasimov.
