In total from November 1 to December 4, 2022 it is possible to take 26 000 birds in a season of hunting. Such decision was made by the Ministry of environment and natural resources of Iceland. Hunting on partridges – one of national traditions in Iceland. Inhabitants of the island love gentle meat of birds which regularly decorates a holiday table on the eve of Christmas. In total on the island about 300 000 stone partridges live. Best of all the partridge is presented in the northwest of the island, in the region peninsula Region of Westfjords...
