Il Sole 24 Ore: storages Italy can provide only a third of consumption of gas in the winter

Italy can contain 13 underground storages to 17 billion cubic meter of gas that is equivalent to one third of demand during a winter season. About it reports information agency "ITAR-TASS" with reference to the Il Sole 24 Ore. In the publication it is noted that at the moment the underground gas storages (UGS) Italy are filled for 93%. The edition underlines that 13 UGS will be insufficiently therefore the power company Snam S. p. A which possesses nine storages, studies construction projects new complexes.
