A pipe stopped up with the deposit

The stop of supply of the Russian gas to Italy is connected with that since October 1 Austria through which territory gas goes transit, introduced obligatory deposits for suppliers of gas to have opportunity to buy the gas necessary for balancing of system. PUBLIC JOINT-STOCK COMPANY "GAZPROM" considered the size of these deposits too big. Now there are negotiations on how to reduce this sum. Thus the Italian Eni interested in receiving the Russian gas, already declared readiness to provide guarantees for PUBLIC JOINT-STOCK COMPANY "GAZPROM" of €20 million.
