After Vilno's release the condition of a neutrality left Lithuania, applying for the ancient capital of Grand Duchy of Lithuania. The Lithuanian armies started seizing disputable territories, but evaded from cooperation with Red Army. Lithuanians acted as it is impossible in time — their small forces could create serious danger to the stretched and badly protected backs of the Western front going on Warsaw. On July 12 in Moscow the Soviet-Lithuanian contract was signed. Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic independence recognized Lithuania (St. 1) and also transition to Lithuania not only Vilno, but also Grodno, Lida, Avgustov...
