Plentiful rains caused floods in Greece

Short, but the intensive storm rains which have fallen upon Greece, led to floods in gorod Afiny, Thessaloniki and areas in the north of the country. On Tuesday, August 23, in the city of Ptolemais, in northern area Region of Western Macedonia, almost for an hour about 77 mm of a precipitation dropped out. Here houses and streets, and also agricultural grounds were flooded. In area Region of Thessaly in the northeast of Greece failures in supply of electricity were registered.
